An Alternative to Timberlands
Growing up in the 90s the only everyday boot I would wear was the tan Timberland 6 inch work boot (I will not include the brief rise of Military boots that were made popular by the R&B band, Jodeci). To me, Timberland was the everyday boot to wear. As I have gotten older, I have noticed that my boot ideology was off. To be all honest, it was skewed by East Coast Rap. In college, surprisingly, my friends from the good ole state of Texas taught me how to rock Polo Boots by Ralph Lauren. This was the beginning of my growth in boot fashion. Fast forward to present day, I am a grown man living in New York City who is bombarded by the varieties of boot culture (not all Mancessory approved). I see gothic punk men rocking those military boots on the Lower East Side. I still see men rocking those once beloved Timberlands in Harlem. I am even seeing men wearing riding boots without the horse. Worse of all, I even saw a man wearing the same Uggs my fiance has in her closet!
Now any man can wear whatever boot his heart desires; however, this site is dedicated to men seeking the Mancessory lifestyle. Men that are seeking their “Mark of Distinction.” As much as I loved my Timberlands, I have come to realize they were not distinct. Everyone wore them at some point. This includes the construction workers who are building the many condos in my neighborhood.
So I have found an alternative to my Timberlands and the many other everyday boots that don’t stand out: Palladium. These boots offer the durability needed for everyday wear; however, will look different every time worn. These are truly distinct. To learn more, check out Palladium’s site here.

How about some dress shoes? Nice boots though.
